  • From the A64, take the A166 towards Bridlington.
  • Follow the A166 across the bridge and into Stamford Bridge.
  • Turn right by the post office onto Church Road and then left into Moor Road.
  • Follow Moor Road for a short distance then turn right into Lob Lane, which leads to Saxon Road and the rear of the Primary School.

  • Follow the A1247 to the second roundabout (signposted for Strensall.

  • Follow the A166 across the bridge and into Stamford Bridge.

  • From the A64, join the A1237 to Haxby Road.
  • Turn left into Haxby Road and continue onto New Earswick.
  • Turn left into White Rose Avenue.
  • The Swimming Pool Car Park is behind the Folk Hall.

The Royal York Hotel

  • The hotel is located right next to York Railway station, follow the signs for York Railway station from any directions into York City Centre.
  • Please note that there is only a small amount of parking available at the hotel.

  • Take the A1079 road from York towards Hull.
  • After 7 miles, go past Wilberfoss, turn right to the Steer Inn / Newton upon Derwent.
  • After 20 yards take immediate left, go past the Steer Inn.
  • At the end of the drive, take the last right and follow road round to the Car Park.
  • The Pool is next to the Car park.

A1079 From Hull

  • Take the A1079 road from Hull towards York.
  • 2 miles after Pocklington, turn left to the Steer Inn / Newton upon Derwent.
  • Then follow the same directions as above.
